Shanghai, China – At the prestigious China Brand Day event held in Shanghai, the China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation made a groundbreaking announcement, revealing the world’s first hydrogen-powered urban train. This remarkable train, composed of four cars, promises to revolutionize urban transportation with its impressive speed and emission-free operation.

With a top speed of up to 99 miles per hour, the hydrogen-powered urban train showcases China’s commitment to clean energy solutions and technological advancements. The train utilizes a unique combination of hydrogen fuel cells and supercapacitors as its energy source, enabling it to travel an astounding 373 miles on a single charge.
