GeoPura Acquires GHS Assets and Expertise to Boost Hydrogen Capabilities and Drive European Expansion

GeoPura has strengthened its hydrogen technology capabilities and set the stage for European growth by acquiring key assets and personnel from Green Hydrogen Systems (GHS).

Under the deal, GeoPura has taken ownership of all spare parts, tools, and fixtures for the A-Series electrolyser platform. In addition, a team of former GHS employees with specialist knowledge in the design, operation, and maintenance of A-Series electrolysers has joined GeoPura, ensuring seamless continuity for the company’s existing fleet.

GeoPura has worked with GHS electrolysers for several years, and this acquisition builds on a long-standing technical collaboration.

To support the transition and future expansion, GeoPura has also launched its first overseas subsidiary, GeoPura (Europe) ApS, based in Denmark. This new hub will focus on electrolyser support and optimisation while serving as a base for deploying GeoPura’s Hydrogen Power Units (HPUs) across Europe.

“We’re pleased to welcome a group of talented specialists who bring critical knowledge and experience to our team,” said Andrew Cunningham, CEO of GeoPura. “This move not only strengthens our technical capabilities but also sets the stage for our expansion into new markets. It’s a major step forward in our mission to deliver clean, reliable hydrogen power at scale.”

GeoPura’s HPUs are already replacing diesel generators in industries such as construction, broadcasting, live events, and infrastructure. The new Danish operation will help meet growing European demand for zero-emission, reliable power solutions.
