Lhyfe (Euronext Paris: LHYFE), a pioneer in renewable hydrogen production, has reported revenues of €4.6 million for the first half of 2025, nearly tripling from €1.7 million in the same period last year. The strong growth reflects accelerating deliveries from its expanding network of production sites in France, Germany, and Sweden, alongside a rising customer portfolio across Europe.
Founder and CEO Matthieu Guesné highlighted the milestone:
“Our revenue nearly tripled in the first half of 2025, supported by the rapid ramp-up of our industrial roadmap. With new production sites, a growing delivery fleet, and major projects under construction, we are building the foundation for large-scale hydrogen deployment in Europe.”
Operational Growth
-
Over 370 deliveries were made in H1 2025, double the volume of the previous year.
-
Lhyfe’s fleet of 70+ hydrogen containers—among the largest in Europe—enabled wider regional coverage, including areas without local production capacity.
-
Installed capacity now stands at 22 MW across four sites, producing up to 8.3 tonnes of green hydrogen per day.
Projects Underway
-
Croixrault (5 MW, Hauts-de-France): equipment installation underway, backed by a €2.5m regional grant.
-
Le Cheylas (10 MW, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes): equipment installed, site ramping up for commissioning.
-
Green Horizon (100 MW, Normandy): backed by a €149m French government grant, with a final investment decision expected in 2026.
Financial Position
-
First project financing package of €53m closed, covering four operational and under-construction sites.
-
Solid cash position of €65m as of June 30, 2025, alongside secured grants totaling €228m.
-
Net loss widened to €21.7m, driven by higher depreciation and operating costs linked to industrial scale-up.
RFNBO Leadership
In September, Lhyfe confirmed RFNBO certification for its four existing sites in France and Germany, making it the largest producer of EU-compliant renewable hydrogen by both number of sites and capacity. This certification strengthens Lhyfe’s ability to supply traceable green hydrogen across Europe and enables customers to access national and EU funding schemes.
Outlook
Lhyfe expects to double revenue in 2025 to around €10 million, driven by higher direct sales of green hydrogen. Beyond 2025, the company anticipates further growth from co-development projects, including its partnership with Masdar, as large-scale hydrogen markets in Europe mature under supportive regulatory frameworks.
