Metacon Receives €14.9 Million Payment from Motor Oil Hellas for Electrolyser Delivery

Metacon has received a payment of €14.9 million (approximately SEK 166 million) from Motor Oil Hellas following the completed and approved delivery of ten 5 MW electrolysis stacks.

The delivery is part of the project at Motor Oil Hellas’ Corinth refinery in Greece, one of Europe’s largest refining facilities. Metacon signed the initial contract in autumn 2024, followed by an agreement for additional orders in spring 2025.

The electrolysis stacks have now been manufactured, tested, and delivered, with the delivery preceded by Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) approved by the customer. Work on manufacturing and delivering the remaining project equipment is continuing as planned.
