PowerCell Secures SEK 41.8 Million Follow-Up Order for Marine System 225

PowerCell has received a SEK 41.8 million follow-up order for its Marine System 225 from a leading European marine OEM. This order, consisting of 14 additional units, reinforces PowerCell’s growing footprint in the marine industry and its role in advancing the decarbonization of maritime transport. Deliveries are expected to be completed by the end of 2025.

Expanding Adoption in the Marine Industry

The Marine System 225, designed to provide auxiliary power for commercial cruise ships, has quickly gained traction since its launch in June 2023. This latest order highlights the system’s critical role in supporting the maritime sector’s transition to sustainable energy solutions. PowerCell has now received orders for over 75 Marine System 225 units from multiple customers, with all deliveries scheduled by the end of 2025.
