LONGi Hydrogen has been awarded a contract to supply multiple 1,000 Nm³/h Hi1 electrolysers, along with Balance of Plant (BoP) equipment, for a groundbreaking green hydrogen project in Norway. Scheduled to commence operations in 2026, the project aims to replace fossil fuels with e-fuels, contributing significantly to global climate goals.
Driving Efficiency and Safety in Green Hydrogen Production
The Hi1 electrolysers are known for their high safety standards, efficiency, and low power consumption, making them ideal for large-scale green hydrogen production. LONGi Hydrogen will leverage its advanced technological expertise and proven project delivery capabilities to ensure the project’s success, offering reliable solutions tailored to meet the customer’s needs.
A Milestone in European Collaboration
Ma Jun, President of LONGi Hydrogen, emphasized the significance of the project:
“The successful signing of this project in Norway represents a major milestone for LONGi Hydrogen, following the signing of our first European project in Germany earlier this year. It reflects the growing trust European customers have in our products, technology, and global delivery capabilities.”
Pioneering the Green Hydrogen Transition
Over the past three years, LONGi Hydrogen has supported international clients in scaling their hydrogen projects from pilot stages to full commercialization. This Norwegian project highlights LONGi’s commitment to partnering with European stakeholders to accelerate the adoption of green hydrogen and contribute to the global shift toward a sustainable energy future.
“As a pioneer in green hydrogen production equipment, we are honored to collaborate with our European partners to accelerate green hydrogen projects, empowering the world’s transition to a greener future,” added Ma Jun.
Green Hydrogen for a Sustainable Tomorrow
By replacing fossil fuels with e-fuels, this project in Norway not only reinforces LONGi Hydrogen’s leadership in green hydrogen technology but also plays a vital role in achieving global climate goals and advancing the commercialization of renewable hydrogen solutions.
