SAS Joins Danish-Dutch Collaboration to Build Northwest Europe’s Green Hydrogen Cluster

SAS has officially joined a groundbreaking partnership between Danish green hydrogen producers and Dutch industrial markets, marking a significant step towards creating Northwest Europe’s leading green hydrogen cluster. The collaboration was inaugurated in the presence of key dignitaries, including His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, His Majesty King Frederik of Denmark, Dutch Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Climate Policy and Green Growth Sophie Hermans, and Danish Minister for Climate, Energy, and Utilities Lars Aagaard.

The partnership was formalized through a declaration signed during the Dutch-Danish Forum on Hydrogen Cooperation, hosted at Danish Industry’s headquarters.

Advancing Cross-Border Green Hydrogen Development

This cross-country initiative aims to connect Denmark’s robust green hydrogen production capabilities with the Netherlands’ growing industrial demand. The collaboration focuses on developing green hydrogen infrastructure, fostering demand, advocating for government support, and securing funding to establish green hydrogen as a competitive energy source in Northwest Europe.
