Metacon AB (publ) has been selected as a key supplier for a hydrogen project in Romania, delivering a 7.5 MW electrolysis plant to Elektra Power SRL (Elektra). The project contract, valued at approximately EUR 7.1 million (around SEK 77.8 million), will be finalized and signed in the coming period.
The facility will be based on pressurized alkaline electrolyzers supplied through Metacon’s partnership with PERIC Hydrogen Technology in Handan, China, alongside auxiliary equipment to complete the system.
