Innovative high-pressure storage tubes, crafted by a leading tube manufacturer in Littleton, Massachusetts, are designed for markedly greater pressures compared to standard offerings, aiming to enhance storage efficiency while curbing transport and delivery expenses. CHARBONE has meticulously planned and funded the procurement of essential hydrogen production elements for the Sorel-Tracy venture.
With the storage tubes poised for delivery, their arrival is meticulously timed with the ongoing construction at the Sorel-Tracy site, known for its strategic position along Highway 30’s “Steel Highway.”

Preparations are underway for scheduling the delivery of the remaining production and storage components, as CHARBONE aims to establish a network of modular green hydrogen facilities throughout North America. Leveraging renewable energy, the company is dedicated to scaling green hydrogen production in both the United States and Canada by 2024, with ambitious plans for 14 additional facilities by 2030.
