CHARBONE HYDROGEN CORPORATION Gears Up for Green Hydrogen Production with Key Equipment Arrival

CHARBONE HYDROGEN CORPORATION (TSXV: CH; OTCQB: CHHYF; FSE: K47), renowned as the sole pure-play green hydrogen entity in North America’s public market, proudly announces a major progression towards activating its premier green hydrogen facility in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec. This update trails the company’s recent announcement of strategic goals and its plans to operationalize the green hydrogen production site by this summer.

Innovative high-pressure storage tubes, crafted by a leading tube manufacturer in Littleton, Massachusetts, are designed for markedly greater pressures compared to standard offerings, aiming to enhance storage efficiency while curbing transport and delivery expenses. CHARBONE has meticulously planned and funded the procurement of essential hydrogen production elements for the Sorel-Tracy venture.

With the storage tubes poised for delivery, their arrival is meticulously timed with the ongoing construction at the Sorel-Tracy site, known for its strategic position along Highway 30’s “Steel Highway.”

Dave Gagnon, CEO of Charbone, shared, “Today marks another critical milestone for CHARBONE, reflecting years of rigorous work as we ready for the first component’s arrival at our flagship Canadian project. Our innovative modular approach to green hydrogen plant development positions us to rapidly progress towards production commencement. I extend my gratitude to our team, investors, shareholders, and families for their enduring support and faith in our mission.”

The Sorel-Tracy Green Hydrogen Project is poised to become CHARBONE’s cornerstone facility, projecting a pioneering presence in green hydrogen production by Q3-2024. With an initial output of approximately 200 kg daily, the plant will focus on industrial applications, offering a sustainable and clean alternative to conventionally produced hydrogen.
